Usability research and redesign of the Uffizi Gallery website. The goal is to improve the user experience, making it easier for potential visitors to find information and for the museum to promote and raise awareness of the importance of the works of art it displays and preserves.
The main objective of this project is to analyze the Uffizi Gallery website, identify how it is used by creating personas and user journeys, compare it with similar websites in Italy and abroad, and redesign it to improve the user experience.
Once the personas had been defined, a series of websites belonging to other museums and galleries were analysed to identify areas of improvement on the Uffizi Gallery website.
Based on the analysis carried out, we created a user journey map and developed a proposal for an effective and stylistically refined user interface using this data. The design incorporates stylistic elements of Renaissance art and typography.
